semicircular
sensorivascular (adjective) (not comparable)
Descriptive of the production of blood-vessel contractions or dilations as a result of a stimulation that is applied by certain nerves: Mike's cardiologist ordered a sensorivascular examination for him because he seemed to have an irregular blood flow which caused him to feel abnormally cold at times.

Descriptive of a geometric shape with seven straight sides and seven junctions: While in the desert, Jim discovered that some cacti, which when sliced, showed their cross-sections in the forms of stars or septangular shapes.
sexangular (sex-ANG-you-luhr) (adjective), more sexangular, most sexangular
Having six pronounced and visible divergent edges: Maurice had a supply of sexangular bricks which he planned to use to construct a special sitting area in his garden.
singular (adjective) (not comparatable)
1. Descriptive of something which is exceptionally good, great or remarkable: Jill's father noticed that her singular talent for singing was significantly superior to that of her brother.

Jim had a singular success as a football player because he made many more touchdowns than the other members of his team.
2. Characteristic of a person or of something that is unusual, peculiar, or odd: When Greg and his friend were walking through the cemetery, it was quite cold and foggy, and it emitted a very singular and strange atmosphere, as if there were ghosts following them!
3. Etymology: from Latin singularis, "one of a kind"; from Latin singulus, "single".
